Learn basic online and social media marketing techniques for your small business, along with using Google tools and AdWords at the “Google and Online Marketing Seminar” Thursday, July 26 at Buffalo State College.
The one-day seminar, which takes place 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the Bulger Communications Building, will help small businesses build their brand and increase their business’s exposure online through general online marketing and website strategies. Seth Meyerowitz, owner of UBE, Inc., a Long Island based website design and search engine optimization company, will be teaching the seminar. Meyerowitz is also a Google AdWords Certified Partner. The training seminar is three hours long and covers three workshops:
- Online Marketing & Social Media 101: introduces small businesses to online marketing, shows how to promote a business using a website, shows how to promote a business through search engines and other websites and discusses the benefits of email marketing.
- Google 101: This workshop provides an overview of many tools that are available from Google to help small businesses grow, be more productive and save money. Topics covered include: search engine optimization, Google Places, Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and Google WebMaster Tools.
- AdWords 101: This workshop provides business owners an introductory understanding of how they can attract new business using AdWords. Topics covered include: Intro to AdWords, Google ranking explained, basic campaign structure, choosing quality keywords and writing great ads.
Event Participants with an active AdWords account will receive a $50 Google AdWords Certificate good towards $50 in advertising credit. Those without an account will receive a $100 Google AdWords Certificate good towards $100 in advertising credit.
