Get ready to learn something new at Buffalo BarCamp, from 5 – 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30 in the Pan American Room of Pearl Street Brewery & Grill in downtown Buffalo.
This year’s event marks the fifth time a BarCamp has been held in Buffalo. The topics of the 15-minute presentations range from search engine optimization to how to be a better presenter. The last five minutes of each presentation is left so each presenter can field questions from the audience.
“The goal of BarCamp is to teach others something, expose them to something, hate something you’re passionate about or been learning yourself, or a project or startup or app you have been working on, etc.,” wrote Steve Poland in the Buffalo OpenCoffee Club Google Group. “Let others get to know you. You may find others are just as excited as you are.”
The event is free to attend and presenters are still wanted for this year’s event. To R.S.V.P. for the event and for more information, visit the Buffalo BarCamp Facebook page. Follow Buffalo BarCamp on twitter http://twitter.com/barcampbuffalo.
