The 2013 WordCamp Buffalo, the one-day community organized conference about all things WordPress, will be held on September 14.
The goal of WordCamp is to “increase knowledge about WordPress for people who already are working with it, and show some benefits of using it for anyone who may be interested, but aren’t currently working with WordPress,” according to the Buffalo WordCamp website.
Events feature information and presentations for all levels and interests; from a “new user to a core developer. Presentations are split between bloggers and business owners with other presentations for developers and designers than focus on advanced WordPress topics such as themes, plugin development and best practices for development.
Volunteers are needed for both event preparation and for the actual day of the event. Volunteer opportunities include:
- speaker wrangling and support
- ticketing and registration
- marketing and promotion
- event coordination
If you would like to offer your services as a volunteer, please complete the volunteer form on the WordCamp Buffalo 2013 website or message @AndyStaple.
